A look through one of the characteristic Cypress trees that line Scenic View in Carmel by the Sea. I painted this on location just off the walking path with a view toward the ocean. I set up my easel and a simple palette of warm and cool primary colors and white was used on linen board. I enjoy these type of views looking through something to get to another and the light beyond. Oil painting on archival linen board 9x12". This painting has been sold. Stephen Sanfilippo Fine Art Gallery, Carmel, CA.
